Shortbread Cookies Recipe

Last Thursday, my friend, ci Maria came to my house.. and pas waktu itu aku memang lagi kepikiran mo coba bikin Shortbread Cookies :) So, we decided to make it together!

Sebenernya gampang banget bikinnya, bahannya juga simple.. but karena sempet salah ngukur takarannya, akhirnya kita kudu bikin pake feeling deh (maklum orang Indonesia.. jangan ditiru yak, haha..) tapi thanks God berhasil juga and hasilnya enak.. So, hati-hati ya pas ngukur takarannya, and selamat mencoba! Ini dia resepnya…


2 cups (260 grams) all-purpose flour
1 cup (226 grams) salted butter, room temperature
(but if you want to use unsalted butter, add ¼ tsp salt)
½ cup (60 grams) powdered sugar
1 tsp (4 grams) pure vanilla extract
Toppings (chocolate chips/raisins/…)

How To Make:

- In the mixer bowl, beat the butter until smooth and creamy.
- Add the sugar and beat until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla extract.
- Gently stir in the flour until incorporated.
- Add the toppings and stir.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C).
- Cut the dough into rounds or other shapes using a cookie cutter.
- Place on the baking sheets.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until cookies are very lightly browned.
