So, finally! Here is our wedding highlight video!

I really couldn't wait to see this video.. and finally yesterday Faz (the camera man and the video-maker) sent this link to my email! I was so excited and then I watched it together with DM last night :) Thanks so much Faz and the team! You guys did a wonderful job! I have watched it many times and still wanna watch it again and again :p

I hope through this video you will see not only about me or DM.. Yes of course, we love one another (hehe..) but there is a greater love between us that has brought us together.. it is the love of our wonderful Father and Savior, Jesus Christ.. Love that never fails..

May this video be a blessing to everyone who watch it and will glorify His name.. Amen! ^^

Hello from Melbourne!! ^^

Wuah, udah lama banget rasanya gak nulis blog.. and you know what, 5 more days (this Saturday) is our wedding day!! Please support us in your prayer ya.. :)

Sebulan belakangan ini memang wow banget, karena aku udah pindahan ke Melbourne, udah ketemu DM pastinya and no more LDR, hehe.. but a lot of adjustment juga, and it's not easy.. trus, also busy with wedding preparation and stuff.. Excited, but pusing juga kadang :p So, I'm sorry kalo ada email / chatting / message yang aku gak sempet bales satu per satu..

But anyway, today aku sempet-sempetin nulis blog sebenernya khusus untuk share 1 video ini ke kalian (khususnya para wanita singles) yang memang baru di-launching hari ini.. Jadi ceritanya, beberapa bulan yang lalu, ada temen-temen dari Espira yang dateng ke rumah untuk shoot video kesaksian aku.. Tentang apa? Nonton aja sendiri ya, haha.. But lewat video ini, aku berdoa supaya bisa jadi blessing, khususnya buat para singles yang lagi galau menanti pasangan hidup :p

Beberapa hari ini aku lagi suka banget dengerin lagu yang satu ini.. enak banget, apalagi sekarang lagi di rumah, suasana adem and lagi ujan di luar (jadi tambah melow deh, haha..) Kepikiran buat nge-post yang satu ini, gara-gara semalem abis komsel Wanita Bijak and kita nonton satu DVD film rohani bareng yang judulnya "Come What May". Ada yang udah pernah nonton? Awalnya sih gak ngerti.. soalnya nih film bahasanya rada berat, haha.. soal hukum, pengadilan and ada bahasa2 biologi juga.. but pas di pertengahan, mulai2 ngerti deh tuh :p

Nah, salah satu value yang mereka bagiin lewat film ini adalah soal BGR (alias Boy and Girl Relationship). Jadi ceritanya ada satu cowoq yang lagi deket and suka sama satu ceweq yang punya high quality standard banget dalam soal hubungan. Pokoknya I agree banget sama value si ceweq ini (soalnya I also have the same commitment like her, haha..) Intinya, waktu si cowoq mau ngajak dia nge-date, dia bilang gini:

"Aku gak mau pergi berkencan, kecuali dengan pria yang akan aku nikahi.."

But selain itu, dia juga punya standard2 lainnya.. dia gak mau pergi berduaan (ekslusive) sama cowoq, apalagi gandengan dsb. Trus dia juga nurut banget sama papanya.. Jadi dia blom pernah pacaran, padahal she is very beautiful and smart.. Dia juga jago baking and ngurus rumah (karena mamanya udah gak ada).. Aku inget dia bilang:

"I prepare myself to be a good wife.. so one day I can get a good husband too.." :)

Singkat cerita, si cowoq ini menghargai komitmen si ceweq.. And si ceweq pun udah suka ama dia juga sebenernya.. But dia bawa si cowoq ini ke papanya dulu, sampe mereka dapet restu, baru deh at the end mereka jadian.. hehe..

Film ini jadi ingetin aku soal komitmen2 yang pernah aku buat.. and aku bisa bilang kalo aku gak pernah nyesel udah buat komitmen itu.. Aku malah bersyukur banget karena sampe saat ini aku BELOM pernah berkencan sama cowoq manapun! haha.. Sama kayak si ceweq tadi, aku bener-bener mau jaga hidup aku for the one and the only one man that God has prepared for me :)

Selain itu, aku juga jadi inget satu komitmen yang aku pernah buat (selain soal berkencan). Aku pernah bilang ke Tuhan kalo aku gak mau nonton bioskop berduaan sama cowoq, sekalipun dia itu best friend aku.. Aku mau nanti pertama kali aku nonton bioskop berduaan itu sama cowoq yang akan jadi suami aku! haha.. And honestly, sempet HAMPIR gagal.. dulu aku sempet hampir nonton berdua with my best friend (cowoq) but bener-bener karena aku anggep dia itu sahabat aku, gak mikir yang macem-macem waktu itu.. but lucunya, God gagalin! Gara-gara film yang kita mo nonton itu gak ada! wkwkwk.. ada-ada aja ya cara Tuhan buat jagain anak2Nya :p But thanks God banget pokoknya, karena sampe saat ini aku masih bisa terus jalanin komitmen2 ini..

Yang namanya "menunggu" memang gak enak.. butuh kesabaran tingkat tinggi, haha.. but bayangin deh, kalo kita bisa sungguh2 jaga hidup kita saat ini and menunggu pria yang terbaik dari Tuhan sampe akhirnya one day kita bisa ketemu sama dia.. it's really worth waiting for! So, buat yang belom pernah pacaran.. wah, kesempatan bagus nih buat kamu terus jaga hidup kamu.. but buat yang udah pernah pacaran or bahkan mungkin udah berkali-kali gagal dalam hubungan.. hey, jangan kecewa.. He is God of second chance! Gak ada kata "terlambat" buat mulai hidup yang baru and to start waiting for the best from Him.. Jangan main-main lagi dalam soal hubungan, and mulai belajar untuk "waiting faithfully" :)

Menunggu dengan sabar merupakan disiplin penting bagi mereka yang mau belajar untuk percaya.

What a beautiful morning!

Mulai minggu ini aku lagi biasain saat teduh di teras, karena my parents baru beli kursi taman, haha.. and I really really love it! (memang aku yang request minta beli sih sebenernya :p) Jadi tiap pagi aku mulai baca Bible and do journaling di situ, sambil minum teh juga kadang, hihi.. And pagi ini, aku saat teduh pake 1 lagu ini.. pasti rata-rata kalian juga udah pada tau, but ga tau kenapa dari semalem kepikiran lagu ini terus ;)

My "Bucket List"

Terinspirasi dari sebuah film, yang direkomendasikan oleh seorang teman, yang berjudul "The Bucket List" membuatku ikut berpikir tentang sekeranjang cita-cita yang ingin kucapai sebelum ajalku tiba.

Film ini bercerita tentang dua orang pasien kanker (Carter & Edward) yang masa hidupnya sudah ditentukan kurang dari setahun. Akhirnya Carter membuat coret-coretan di secarik kertas "The Bucket List" atau serupa dengan "things to do before die". Dalam satu kesempatan, Edward membaca catatan tersebut dan tertarik untuk mewujudkannya.

Mereka mengalami perjalanan dan pengalaman yang luar biasa. Satu per satu daftar mereka dicoret dan terpenuhi. Di akhir hidupnya, Carter memberi kesaksian mengenai Edward seperti ini:

"He was 81 years old. Even now, I can't claim to understand the measure of a life, but I can tell you this: I know that when he died, his eyes were closed and his heart was open, and I'm pretty sure he was happy with his final resting place because he was buried on the mountain, and that was against the law..."

1. Menginjakkan kaki di 5 benua
2. Go to Israel (my parents too!)
3. Merasakan naik kapal Star Cruise / sejenisnya
4. Menikah & punya rumah sendiri
5. Berkhotbah di luar negeri & dalam bahasa Inggris
6. Menulis buku & diterjemahkan ke dalam banyak bahasa
7. Menggembalakan sebuah gereja (jadi Senior Pastor)
8. Making a magazine
9. Punya book store & penerbitan sendiri
10. Mencoba hal-hal baru, terutama diving & paraceling!
