Indoor Skydiving at iFLY

We ended this summer holiday with a very cool activity! Glenn and Joel did an indoor skydiving at iFLY Melbourne yesterday :)

We booked the Summer Break Pack for them, which included photos, videos and the high flight experience.. They really had fun and it was fun for us to watch them too 🥰 Well done, boys! 👏🏻

Summer Holiday ☀️

I think this is the busiest summer holiday that we’ve ever had 😆

I’ve shared what we did in December, like surfing, Christmas, tie-dye, baking and we had a bit of relaxing times at home with DM when he had his long holiday about 1,5 week..

But this month (January), after DM got back to work, we really had a busy schedule.. too busy I think and I need to learn to manage the schedule better next time so we don’t feel overwhelmed 😅 But the kids had a great time and learning many new things.. Glenn & Joel did 2 weeks Vicswim, STEM programs at the library, cooking class, first time trying athletics, 5 days CYC city camp for Glenn, Messy Bubs activity for Levi and he really loves it :)

Here are some of their photos and thank God for this summer holiday.. Praying for a great homeschool year in 2026 🙏

Dear Joel…

You are 7 now! 🎉

Here were some things that we did for your birthday this year :)

First, Mommy and Daddy prepared a little surprise for you the night before your birthday.. and you saw the surprise in the morning when you woke up :) There were balloons, donuts and Lego for your birthday presents…

After we celebrated you in the morning, we went for swimming together at Melton Waves. It was a really hot day (40-45 degrees) but we still had a great time swimming. We went for dinner at Sushi Train, prayed together, talked about what we love about you and your birth story :) We closed the day with a movie night at home.. we watched Happy Feet 🐧

The next day we went to watch 13 Storey Treehouses live show at the theatre and it was really fun! We also had another movie night on that day, watching Happy Feet 2 😁

The day after that, the celebration still continued.. It was Sunday, so we celebrated your birthday with other kids at Sunday School.. And after church, Mommy took you out for a lunch date ❤️ You chose to eat pizza and babycino..

We love you, Joel! We’re so grateful to have you in our family and to see you grow.. Hope you enjoyed all the celebrations and always remember how precious and wonderful you are! xoxo 😘

Happy New Year 2026 🎉

Happy New Year 2026 🎉

And this is my first blog post in 2026 :)

Today is first Sunday in 2026 and we went to church wearing our tie dye shirts (also tie dye socks for Glenn & Joel) that we made this week 😁 And we took our first family photo in 2026 at church (Thanks Bernie for taking our picture) 📸

I’m entering this year with a new heart, new spirit, new hope, new commitments and excitement.. This year will be a year of restoration for me.. I know everything won’t happen as smooth, easy and instant as I’m expected.. But I want to put my hope and trust in Christ alone 🙏

I also received a message from ci Lia, to build our unseen life with God in 2026.. I’m still taking a break from Facebook and Instagram, and honestly sometimes I feel so tempted to post something on there for other people to see (because not many people see this blog anymore, haha..) But what’s the point of it? Why I want others to see my life and why I want to get approval from others? Why I can’t just keep building my life unseen and seek only God’s approval? So that’s one of my goals this year..

Once again, Happy New Year and hopefully this year I can keep posting and sharing on this blog like I used to do before :) God bless!
